For Patients and Families

Navigating the system of care can be extremely challenging. Treatment and support resources for patients and families struggling with substance use can be limited or difficult to find. The Southern New Jersey MAT Center of Excellence is dedicated to increasing access to life-saving, compassionate, evidence-based treatment across our state.

While our work is focused on education and training of providers, we also wanted to make sure patients and families visiting our site could have some resources to turn to for treatment or support.

We included some general information below from sources we trust. We also included the NJREACH hotline, the substance use treatment directory for New Jersey, and the list of County Drug and Alcohol Directors, who can act as local resources.

If you are in southern New Jersey and are in need of immediate treatment, you can also come to our walk-in clinic in Camden, New Jersey open five days per week from 9:00-4:00 or call to make an appointment at the Cooper Center for Healing or the Rowan Neuromusculoskeletal Institute.

Information for the walk-in clinic and phone numbers to make virtual or

in person appointments are listed below.
