The Southern New Jersey Medication for Addiction Treatment Center of Excellence (SNJMATCOE) recently launched an archive of past educational presentations.
Each month, experts from the SNJMATCOE present a two-hour lecture on a current topic related to addiction medicine. Recent topics have included Xylazine Contamination in the Drug Supply, Addiction Medicine in Primary Care, and the Intersection of Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders.
Recent recorded lectures have been uploaded to a new presentation archive found in SNJMATCOE’s recently remodeled website. This archive will be continually updated with new lectures as they are presented. This presentation archive also offers shorter training videos for health care professionals covering the history of the opioid epidemic, the basics of harm reduction, substance use disorders in the geriatric patient population, and more.
These lectures offer free CME to those who attend, and a schedule of future lectures can be found here. The next lecture is scheduled for August 22 and will be about the use of buprenorphine in an OBAT setting.
